Camels and Arts!
There are moments you simply can't plan.
I walked into a small antique shop in Tangier's Medina, attracted by the beautiful chaos of brass lamps, old clocks and forgotten treasures. The owner, an elderly gentleman wearing a traditional Moroccan hat, greeted me with the biggest smile.
Within minutes we were laughing as if we had known each other for years.
Then, completely out of nowhere, he looked at me very seriously and said:
"You should stay here... Come and live in my big house."
I laughed and answered,
"I'm not looking for a husband so soon... but I'll keep you in mind."
He laughed even louder.
Then I added the only important question:
"How many camels are included?"
That made everyone in the shop burst into laughter.
Sometimes travelling isn't about monuments or famous places.
It's about these unexpected conversations with people you've only just met, moments that last a few minutes but become memories you'll probably never forget.
And honestly...
If the camel offer improves, I might have to negotiate.
